The 9 Square Game is a thermoplastic playground marking of a large yellow outlined grid of nine squares, each holding a smaller yellow square numbered 1 to 9. The marking measures 3m by 3m. Children stand in the numbered squares and play ball and movement games, hitting a ball between squares or jumping to called numbers while practising counting.
