The Phonics Train is a thermoplastic playground marking of a long engine pulling a line of coloured carriages, each carriage carrying a letter sound such as igh, sh, oi, ar, ow, th, ch, ng, oo, ee, ai, oa and ear. The marking measures 11m by 0.6m. Children follow the train naming each sound, supporting phonics and early reading.
